How the transition fee is calculated

You're entitled to one third of your monthly salary for every year of service, calculated pro rata from your first working day. Your monthly salary includes your base salary, 8% holiday allowance, a fixed 13th month and the average of structural bonuses, commissions and overtime.

The statutory maximum in 2026 is €102,000 gross, or one annual salary if that is higher. This calculator gives an indication only; your exact entitlement depends on your contract and circumstances.
